At Bibendum Bar, we’ve been supplying the best Australian bars and retailers with the finest artisanal spirits since 2015. Over the journey we’ve become painfully aware of the gap in the market for a no-compromise, world class, locally produced set of mixers, packaged as sustainably as possible. So that’s exactly what we set out to produce.

Our range of mixers is world class, using only natural quinine and high quality fruit essences and herbal extracts. All of them are designed to both pack a punch on their own, and of course, to enhance the characteristics of the finest spirits.

As far as sustainability goes, we determined, from day one, that Midnight Mixers would use no glass or plastic. The mixer world is dominated by single use, glass bottles, often shipped from overseas. By contrast, our low weight, fully recyclable cans are Australian made and much lighter and space efficient than glass bottles. Cans are also far more energy efficient to recycle. Then, our cartons are produced exclusively (and locally) from 100% recycled cardboard, and our tapes and glues are fully biodegradable. In short, everything has been designed to minimize our impact on the planet. Careful attention has also been paid to ethical sourcing, and of course all of our production is local.

Apart from being far more sustainable, our cans are also bar, retail and home-fridge friendly. They’re a perfect serve at 200ml, and once used, they can be easily crushed for maximum space efficiency before putting in the recycling. They are also stackable, both in and out of their 4-pack sleeves, and they’re easily identifiable by their distinct colours (even at Midnight!)
